Details: Up for sale is my Original 1991 Turbo RX-7. The car is not swapped, it´s a real factory 91´ Turbo model. There is just a little over 85,X00 miles on the chassis and original engine(Which is important because the 91´ Turbo engines have thicker castings). The car has a red exterior, and a black interior.If you know FC´s you might be wondering why I´m not calling it a Turbo II. In 91´ Mazda dropped the ´Turbo II´ name and marketed the cars as just the ´RX-7 Turbo´ model. They only imported around 1500 Turbo cars that year, which was the last for the second generation RX-7´s in the US. Currently there are only about 50 registered which makes it a very hard car to find, harder than a 10th Anniversary Edition RX-7.I have owned the car since 2008 and put a little over 4,700 miles on it. I´m selling it because I´ve got 3 other vehicles(one of which is a GTUs RX-7), and I don´t have the time to enjoy it I wish I had. I´m trying to keep my financial focus on my GTUs. The car is in great shape, and runs without any issues. It will start up the first time every time, even in the cold.The interioris in good shape. It has light wear, and the old leather seats have been swapped for nice cloth seats from a 90´ Turbo. The OEM cargo cover is in great shape, all locks and knobs work.The exterior/body is decent. It´s old original single stage paint that cleans and waxes very well, but it is thin on the spoiler and on the sideskirts. I have an aftermarket lip on it, but still have the stock front lip (It´s about half repaired,Needs to be sanded and painted where it was fused together with body shop grade ABS fusor). The car will come with one lip or the other. The underbody has 3 isolated rust ares. Two small spots in the floor, the third is on the spare tire well. It also has a small dent on the drivers side fender that can be massage out(I would fix it now, But I don´t have a garge) I can send pics upon request. Mechanically it runs and idles perfect, all mounts are good. The A/C system needs to be flushed and Charged. Over the summer I had to replace a line that had a pinhole leak and haven´t hooked it up to a machine yet, the system has been converted to R-134a. The car will not pass emissions. It has a cat, but the emissions equipment has been removed to simplify things under the hood(Took out the Rats nest, and other Un-needed emissions control equipment when I refreshed the upper engine). The OMP has also been removed, so it is necessary to pre-mix 2cycle oil when filling up. 1oz oil:1 Gallon gas. It´s easy to do. I just carry 16Oz bottles of two stroke with a funnel, and dump one in everytime I fill up the tank. All interior switches and lights work, the stock alarm works, Fog lights work, Power windows, Sunroof etc.I´ll be the first to admit you can find a beat Turbo FC for cheaper. This car is for an RX-7 enthusiast, or someone who wants a rare FC. I have gone through it, and trust it on any trip. It is in great shape, it will require very little work in the future and is a nice example of a second gen RX-7.
