I can assure you this is in no way damaging to the vehicle and it has not altered anything. I have been driving it since the repair, and it runs perfectly. I had the work done the next day on January 2nd, 2012 and the total cost was 456.68$. I also had the Transmission Cooler Pipe replaced because it was so close to the CV Shaft and I wanted to be safe. Total cost for that was 132.91$ - BOTH PAID FOR AND INSTALLED and it hasn´t had an issue since.
