Details: Clean title and owned since almost new. No major accidents, minor dents only. All original. FAST !!! Reasons for sale: My neighbor´s car (this one!) was not working and so I offered to fix it for them. They offered me the car for $3k not running but I thought I would help them out instead of taking advantage. 30 weeks later I have fixed nearly everything with this car. It has had-x4 new O2 sensors-knock sensor-x2 CMP sensors + crank sensor-x6 spark plugs -air filter + oil change-x1new fuel injector + all others cleaned/tested-new battery-new check valve-new vac hoses-new EGR hose-new used throttle body with latest Mazda TPS with updated design (actually a Ford part - the Mazda engine is a Duratec)-new fuel pressure regulatorComputer has been checked by Mazda. Reason it took so many parts was that the alternator was faulty which meant the voltage was not correct so many sensors didn´t work...SO IN FACT THEY ARE PERFECTLY GOOD BUT THEY ARE FITTED NOW SO THERE IS LITTLE POINT REMOVING THEM. THIS MEANS YOU GET A CAR YOU WON´T HAVE TO REPLACE SENSORS FOR A LONG TIME. I took it to Mazda twice in desperation during the last 2 months. I had fixed all the fault codes but the motor was/is still missing and hesitating.The Mazda tech told me that it needed a new alternator and a new MAF sensor and an ABS computer. They are ordered and on their way.If you wish to buy now at $4k please email. Otherwise it will be $4750 once I have fitted the MAF sensor and the alternator and ABS ECU.Lots of power , cats seem fine - IT JUST HESITATES DUE TO THE MAF + ALTERNATOR PROBLEM.For the techies out there. It goes to closed loop and the O2 sensors report back well when the MAF is unplugged and the ECU use default settings. Compressions all good and only the ABS fault code - new ABS ECU being fitted anywayThis means once the MAF is fitted it will work fine.I have asked the owner to get the title ready for a sale.I have the car because the receipts for parts comes to $1000 and I need to be paid back when the car is sold.I have all receipts.also: rear light is cracked and dent in rear fender area plus other minor dents. Some paint peeling from AZ sun.Has owners manual, spare tire and jack. Could use a new engine mount driver´s side. (ebay $35)The owners have fallen on hard times and are living with parents with 6 children and the situation is difficult for them. They need the money to get their own home - the deposit.I need my $1000 they need $3000 and the buyer gets a car with nearly all the sensors replaced and over 300 (200 of which was a waste of time - I had a faulty multimeter from Harbor freight which missed the alternator problem)......... hours of work on the car.
